Kyiv’s Mayor Klitschko offers Japan long-term investment projects

Kyiv makes every effort for successful implementation of project of the Bortnychi aeration station reconstruction.

Kyiv’s Mayor Vitali Klitschko said this in Tokyo during the meeting with President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Shinichi Kitaoka, the Kyiv City State Administration press service reports.

"Currently, the investment project of the Bortnychi aeration station reconstruction is the most large-scale and ambitious infrastructure project in Ukraine, which solves the set of environmental, technological, social and utility issues relating to the environmental safety of the Ukrainian population. The Bortnychi aeration station is the only purification filter for all domestic and industrial effluents of the capital and 15 nearby settlements of Kyiv region. We are very grateful to the Japanese side for the help in implementation of this important and ambitious project," Klitschko said.
