Ukrzaliznytsia to lay rail tracks in Iran

Ukrzaliznytsia Ukrainian Railways will be involved in laying rail tracks in the area of Kermanshah-Malar in Iran.

This was stated by Chairman of the Board of PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia Wojciech Balczun, the press service of the agency reports.

"The agreements were reached by the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine and the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of Iran. We were authorized to sign the relevant contract, which will soon be done," Balczun stated.

According to the Chairman of the Board, the first stage provides for assembling tracks and laying rails and cribbing along 165 kilometers of railway tracks, installing 138 sets of turnouts, and other works.
