Ukraine, Bulgaria launch joint infrastructure projects

Presidents of Ukraine and Bulgaria have agreed to launch joint infrastructure projects.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said this during the joint press conference with Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev in Sofia, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We agreed to start to develop joint infrastructure projects and implement the agreements that have been reached recently with Romanian President in Bucharest. The road, which we have started to build from Odesa through Bolhrad to Reni, should extend through Romania to Bulgaria," Poroshenko said.

He stressed that it was very important that 300,000 Bulgarians living in Odessa region could quickly get to Bulgarian towns.

"That's what makes our peoples even closer," the Ukrainian President noted.
