Poroshenko signs law allocating over UAH 3 billion for Donbas restoration

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the law that will allow allocating over UAH 3 billion for the restoration of Donbas.

This is reported by the press service of the Head of State.

"“We have made everything possible to find over UAH 3 billion that will now be allocated to local budgets of Donetsk and Luhansk regions for prompt restoration of Donbas,” the Head of State noted in the course of the teleconference with Kramatorsk where the leadership of Donetsk and Luhansk regions convened.

According to him, the funds will be primarily spent on repair and reconstruction of 21 schools, construction and restoration of 23 clinics and 29 kindergartens. The total cost of projects on repair and reconstruction of social infrastructure will be over UAH 1 billion. Considerable attention will be paid to facilities of water supply. It is also planned to put in operation 60 kilometers of roads and repair and reconstruct six destroyed bridges in Luhansk region.
