Coal from occupied Donbas shipped to Ukraine legally - minister

Coal from the occupied areas in Donbas is legally shipped to consumers in Ukraine. The companies that have been registered in the government-controlled areas have been delivering the commodity, minister for temporarily occupied territories and IDPs of Ukraine Vadym Chernysh said on air of the Fifth Channel TV.

"Coal from the uncontrolled territories has been officially shipped to Ukraine, to government-controlled areas and it’s being used to generate electricity for us. I emphasize that there are plenty of people, hundreds of thousands, who are in some manner tied and pay taxes, and the enterprises that pay the military tax to Ukraine," the minister noted.

Chernysh also said that the government will restore Donbas by using the donor funds.
