Ukraine may get USD 50 bln from Gazprom

Ukraine may get USD 50 billion from the Russian Gazprom if a claim of NJSC Naftogaz is satisfied in the Stockholm Arbitration.

This was announced by Yuriy Vitrenko, the business development director of Naftogaz, cenzor.net news website reports.

"The total sum in dispute in the Stockholm Arbitration is USD 50 billion, including USD 30 billion in compensation, which we demand as we had previously  received from Gazprom less than required or overpaid them; and at least USD 20 billion is an extra cash flow that we will get after the Stockholm decision is issued. In addition, in Stockholm, we make them begin to work in Ukraine in line with the European rules," Vitrenko said.

He added that the Russians delayed the proceedings by all the available means.
