Finance Ministry to issue additional bonds to complete state debt restructuring

The Ukrainian government under a proposal of the Finance Ministry has supported a decision to additionally issue and place Ukraine's 2015 foreign loan bonds and state derivatives worth $430.6 million, needed to complete the restructuring of external state debt, the Finance Ministry's press service reports.

“An additional issue of new bonds and state derivatives for holders of old bonds worth about $430.6 million is to be carried out to fully complete the restructuring of Ukraine's foreign state debt,” reads the report.

Thus, according to the Finance Ministry, the only unregulated state debt is the so-called "Russian debt" of $3 billion.
