Gas interconnection point between Ukraine and Slovakia becomes bidirectional

Starting from 1 April 2016 the interconnection point Budince between Ukraine and Slovakia became bidirectional.

Slovak gas pipeline system operator Eustream has reported on its ite.

"From 1 April 2016 the interconnection point Budince becomes bidirectional, with entry capacity from Ukraine towards system of Eustream,” a statement said.

It is reported that Maximum daily entry capacity on firm basis in direction from Ukraine is 19 million cubic meters per one day.

Moreover, Eustream will “perform dynamic evaluation of utilization of existing capacities and calculate probability of interruption and resulting monthly additional interruptible capacity might be offered to the market.”
