Rozenko promises subsidies to 9.5 million families

Almost 9.5 million families in Ukraine will get subsidies, if agreements of the government with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) regarding tariffs are not reviewed and changed, Ukrainian Social Policy Minister Pavlo Rozenko has said.

“If not taking into account the situation in Ukraine, and just follow what is written in the Memorandum, then over 9.5 million Ukrainian families will receive subsidies,” Rozenko told journalists, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

At the same time, according to him, the authorities should hold negotiations with the IMF and persuade them to change their approaches to the creation of tariffs in Ukraine for the next period.
