EBRD, Ukraine sign agreement on resolving credit line to purchase gas

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has signed an agreement with Ukraine on the revolving credit line for the term of three years to  purchase gas.

EBRD Director for Ukraine Sevki Acuner said this in an interview with the Ekonomichna Pravda newspaper.

“The program that we have signed is the revolving credit line for three years to purchase gas. If needed, it will be automatically increased. The ministry or the Cabinet needs to submit a new bid,” Acuner said.

He also stressed that the EBRD is ready to allocate funds if needed, but it has not received a bid from Ukraine.
