Iran interested in Ukrainian industrial production – Pyvovarsky

The Islamic Republic of Iran is interested in purchasing Ukrainian industrial production, in particular supplies of train cars and locomotives. 

Infrastructure Minister Andriy Pyvovarsky said at a meeting with representatives of railway infrastructure industry, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We have a meeting with the Ambassador of Iran. He assured that Iran needs the Ukrainian industrial production,” Pyvovarsky said.

According to him, Iranians know well about the Ukrainian industrial production, in particular the railway transport.

"Mr. Ambassador paid special attention to supplies railroad cars and traction. There is a huge need in this,” the minister said.

He also assured the Ukrainian producers, intending to enter the Iranian market, that the Infrastructure Ministry would render needed assistance.
