Ukrainian companies to lose up to USD 1100 mln due to Russian embargo

Ukrainian companies are expected to lose USD 800-1100 million in revenue because of embargo, most favored nation treatment, transit restrictions imposed by Russia.

Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius said this during an hour of questions to the Government in the Parliament, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We expect that the Ukrainian companies will lose USD 800-1100 million in revenue because of embargo, most favored nation treatment, transit restrictions imposed by Russia," he said.

Abromavicius stressed that in this regard our economy cannot afford not improving the business climate, not attracting investment, and not closing corruption schemes.
