Ukraine, Vietnam agree to develop trade}

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met with Prime Minister of Vietnam Nguyen Tan Dung and discussed the joint activities aimed at strengthening the political dialogue and deepening the trade and economic relations.

The meeting took place within the framework of the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris, the press service of the Head of State reports.

"In particular, the parties discussed the ways to better use the potential of both countries to increase the volume of trade and investment. It was agreed to hold a regular meeting of the joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation in 2016 in Kyiv," reads the statement.

Petro Poroshenko and Nguyễn Tấn Dũng discussed the topical issues of Ukraine-Vietnam cooperation on the world arena, particularly within the context of Ukraine's non-permanent membership of the UN Security Council.

Nguyễn Tấn Dũng supported the aspirations of Ukraine to join the Asia-Europe Forum. The Head of State drew special attention to the importance of expanding pro-Ukrainian coalition in the Southeast Asia.
