Ukraine and the Netherlands to hold large-scale business forum

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte have agreed to launch preparations for holding a joint large-scale business forum in 2016.

The press service of the head of state reports.

In a statement for journalists, President Poroshenko noted that two important events would take place in January 2016: the Netherlands will hold the presidency of the European Union, and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area will come into force.

“We have agreed to use these new opportunities as much as possible to reinforce bilateral cooperation, assist Dutch companies on the Ukrainian market and attract them to the process of privatization in Ukraine,” Poroshenko said.

In addition, the President praised the economic mission initiated by the Dutch government in Ukraine.

Dutch Prime Minister Rutte, in turn, noted that the Netherlands sees great opportunities in the development of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of eco culture.
