Yatsenyuk asks to open trade promotion offices abroad

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to appeal to the President of Ukraine with the initiative to open Ukraine’s trade promotion offices in eight countries.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said this at the Cabinet’s meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The government makes the decision to open trade promotion offices. Pursuant to the legislation, this issue is within the competence the President of Ukraine. I am convinced that the President will support the government's initiative regarding the establishment of eight trade promotion offices," he said.

In particular, Yatsenyuk said, the Cabinet will suggest opening the offices in the EU (Brussels), the United States (Washington), as well as in China, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Turkey and Egypt.
