Ukrainian minister invites Finnish companies to launch production in Ukraine

Minister for Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin discussed with Finnish Defense Minister Antti Häkkinen the prospects for Finnish companies to launch production in Ukraine.

According to Smetanin, during the meeting with Häkkinen, the main topic was strengthening cooperation between the defense companies of the two countries, which has already begun. In particular, there are important steps in the area of critical components.

“We will be glad to deepen cooperation and invite Finnish companies to launch their production in Ukraine. We already have several successful cases in this regard, so we will be happy to share our experience,” Smetanin added.

As reported, Minister for Strategic Industries Herman Smetanin held a number of meetings with the leadership of Czech defense companies and agreed to expand partnership in the production of defense goods.
