Donbas update: Invaders breach truce four times Dec 29

In the past 24 hours, on December 29, Ukraine’s military command reported four ceasefire violations by the Russian occupation forces in eastern Ukraine’s hostility zone.

That’s according to the Joint Forces Operation HQ, Ukrinform reports citing the command’s press service as saying.

Near Novoluhanske, the enemy fired automatic easel-mounted grenade launchers.

In the direction of Triokhizbenka, the invaders opened fire using easel-mounted anti-tank grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms.

Outside Novoselivka, the enemy opened fire employing automatic and easel-mounted anti-tank grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms.

On the outskirts of Zolote-4, Russian occupation forces fired small arms.

A Ukrainian soldier was wounded in one of the enemy attacks. He is now undergoing treatment in a hospital, remaining in moderate condition.

Ukrainian defenders returned fire without using weapons proscribed by the Minsk agreements and forced the enemy to cease shelling.

As of 7:00 Thursday, December 30, no new ceasefire violations were recorded in Donbas.
