Over 44 tonnes of humanitarian cargo delivered to occupied territories of eastern Ukraine

More than 44 tonnes of humanitarian cargo has been delivered to the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the press service of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine has reported.

“Today, November 19, humanitarian cargo weighing a total of 44.51 tonnes has been delivered to Russia-occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions," the report says.

The cargo was transferred from all member states of the Geneva Conventions that contribute to the global budget of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

Thus, four trucks carrying humanitarian aid crossed the Novotroitske entry-exit checkpoint, according to the ministry.

As Ukrinform reported, on November 17, humanitarian cargo weighing over 30 tonnes was delivered to Russia-occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
