Ukrainian serviceman wounded near Shyrokyne

One Ukrainian serviceman has sustained shrapnel wounds after Russian-backed forces open fire on Ukrainian positions from automatic grenade launchers near Shyrokyne, Donetsk region, the Skhid (East) operational and tactical group has reported on Facebook.

"Today, the armed formations of the Russian Federation once again violated the ceasefire and fired at the positions of Ukrainian defenders from automatic grenade launchers near the village of Shyrokyne. As a result of the shelling, one serviceman sustained penetrating shrapnel wounds. After receiving first aid, the fighter was transported to a medical facility. The wounded is in moderate condition," the report reads.

Representatives of the military unit and a working group of the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are working at the scene.
