Nine ceasefire violations in JFO area. Ukrainian soldier killed

Over the past day, June 11, nine ceasefire violations by the Russian-occupation troops were recorded in the Joint Forces Operation area in eastern Ukraine.

"In particular, the enemy opened fire from 82mm mortars outside Vodiane near Donetsk and Novhorodske (35km north of Donetsk); grenade machine guns, under-barrel grenade launchers, hand-held antitank grenade launchers, and heavy machine guns – near Vodiane in the Sea of Azov area," the press center of the JFO Headquarters informs.

As a result of the shelling, one serviceman received a fatal shrapnel wound.

Moreover, invaders fired hand-held antitank grenade launchers in the area of Opytne (12km north-west of Donetsk); tripod-mounted man-portable antitank guns and heavy machine guns – near Pivdenne (40km north-east of Donetsk); hand-held antitank grenade launchers and 82mm mortars – in the area of Starohnativka (51km south of Donetsk).

As of 07:00 on June 12, one ceasefire violation was recorded. The enemy opened fire from grenade machine guns, hand-held antitank grenade launchers, under-barrel grenade launchers, and small arms outside Vodiane in the Sea of Azov area.

The Ukrainian side of the JCCC informed the OSCE SMM about all violations by the occupiers, using the established coordination mechanism.

"Ukrainian service members control the situation in the Joint Forces Operation area and adhere to the ceasefire regime," the JFO Headquarters informs.
