Kuleba: Ukraine counts on U.S. assistance in meeting urgent security needs

Ukraine handed over a list of the most urgent needs of the Ukrainian army to the United States and expects that a number of items will be provided as soon as possible.

As Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said in an interview with DW, the Ukrainian side handed over a list of the most urgent needs of the Ukrainian army to the United States.

"We do not expect to get everything at once, but we ask for progress on items which can be obtained at the moment. I have no doubt that we will get a certain number of items from this list. And it does not require appropriate costs. This is a matter of cooperation, technical details, and I have no doubt that we will get this," said the Foreign Minister.

As reported, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed security, economic, and energy issues, as well as further progress on reforms, with Ukrainian officials during his visit to Kyiv on May 5-6.
