Ukraine to create aeromedical evacuation system

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has endorsed the creation of an aeromedical evacuation system and transport support for transplantology.

Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov wrote about this on Twitter.

"The Government supported the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to create, together with the Ministry of Health, an aeromedical evacuation system and transport provision for transplantology. From April 1 we will start in Lviv region (seven districts), from May 1 – in Kyiv region (eight districts and the city of Kyiv), and then - all over the country," Avakov noted.

As reported, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said that an important project for the introduction of civil aeromedical evacuation will start in the country this year.
