OSCE spots howitzers, mortars and tanks in violation of withdrawal lines in Donbas

The armed formations of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries continue to grossly violate the Minsk agreements by deploying heavy weapons in violation of withdrawal lines in Donbas, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters has reported on Facebook.

According to a January 30 report of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM), a mini-UAV spotted three self-propelled howitzers (2S1 Gvozdika, 122mm), five towed mortars (PM-38, 120mm) and 14 tanks (T-72) in a training area near Novoselivka (37km north-east of Donetsk).

In addition, 10 infantry fighting vehicles (three BMP-1 and seven undetermined types) were also recorded at this training area.

The weapons were deployed in violation of withdrawal lines.

The Ukrainian side of the JCCC said that the armed formations of the Russian Federation once again demonstrated disrespect for the norms and rights of international agreements.
