Ukrainian soldier wounded near Zolote in Luhansk region

A serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been wounded as a result of the shelling of Ukrainian positions by the Russian invaders in the area of the town of Zolote, Luhansk region.

The Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) wrote about this on its Facebook page on January 25, Ukrinform reports.

"Today, at about 12:00 on January 25, one serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was wounded as a result of the enemy's shelling of our positions near Zolote (government-controlled, 60km west of Luhansk). The soldier received medical assistance, his condition is stable," the report reads.

The Ukrainian side of the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) used the coordination mechanism to introduce a ceasefire and sent a corresponding note to the OSCE SMM.
