Invaders violate ceasefire in Donbas five times, two Ukrainian servicemen wounded

Over the past day, five ceasefire violations were recorded near three populated localities in the Joint Forces Operation area in Donbas. Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded.

“The enemy opened fire from 82mm mortars and grenade machine guns near Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk); grenade machine guns and small arms – outside Shumy (41km north of Donetsk),” the press center of the JFO Headquarters informs.

One Ukrainian soldier sustained a gunshot wound in the shelling. Another Joint Forces serviceman was injured in an unknown explosive device blast near Krasnohorivka (21km west of Donetsk). Both defenders were administered first aid and taken to medical facilities," the Headquarters informs, noting that the Ukrainian troops gave an adequate response to Russian occupation forces’ attacks.

Today, December 25, no ceasefire violations have been recorded. The ceasefire is observed along the entire contact line.
