Enemy sniper wounds Ukrainian soldier near Luhanske

On December 4, the armed formations of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas twice.

"The Russian occupation forces used 122mm artillery systems and 120mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions near Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk)," the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In addition, the enemy used sniper's weapon in the area of Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk). As a result of the shot, one soldier of the Joint Forces received a gunshot wound. He was promptly given first aid and evacuated to a medical facility.

Today, December 4, the Russian occupation troops have violated the ceasefire agreements once by using automatic mounted grenade launchers, hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and small arms near Shumy (41km north of Donetsk). No casualties among Ukrainian servicepersons have been reported. Ukrainian servicemen did not use weapons in response to fire provocations of the enemy.
