Ukrainian army reports 2,882 COVID-19 cases

As of November 23, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have reported 2,882 COVID-19 cases, including 51 new cases confirmed in the past 24 hours.

“As of 10:00 on November 23, the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported 2,882 coronavirus cases. Some 51 new cases were recorded over the past day,” the press service of the Medical Forces Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports on its Facebook page.

Unfortunately, a Ukrainian soldier from the UN peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) died from COVID-19.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 6,159 people have recovered and 26 died. Some 394 people have been placed in isolation (including self-isolation). For 37 servicepersons, isolation will end within the next three days.

As of November 23, Ukraine reported 635,689 laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 10,945 new cases recorded over the past 24 hours.
