TCG agrees to open two entry-exit checkpoints in Donbas on Nov 10

The Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) has scheduled the opening of Zolote and Shchastia entry-exit checkpoints in Donbas for November 10, the Office of the President of Ukraine reports.

“The participants in the consultations of the Trilateral Contact Group agreed on the date of opening of two entry-exit checkpoints - Zolote and Shchastia - November 10. First Deputy Head of the Ukrainian delegation Oleksiy Reznikov assured of Ukraine's readiness to open both checkpoints on the set date,” reads a report.  

According to the Office of the President, Oleksiy Reznikov will visit these entry-exit checkpoints to complete organizational issues on November 6.

Reznikov also invited Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in Ukraine and in the TCG, Ambassador Heidi Grau to visit the checkpoints together.

Representatives of Ukraine also informed that the infrastructure of both checkpoints is ready for freight transport. The Ukrainian side is completing to asphalt the road leading to the Zolote checkpoint.
