OSCE observes Russian tanks and artillery in violation of withdrawal lines in Donbas

The OSCE SMM observed 11 tanks and 3 self-propelled howitzers in violation of withdrawal lines in occupied Donetsk region.

“The SMM observed 14 weapons in violation of withdrawal lines, all near a non-government controlled training area near Novoselivka in Donetsk region,” reads the daily report of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine issued on 20 October 2020.

As noted, Mission’s long-range UAV spotted three T-72 tanks and three self-propelled howitzers (2S1 Gvozdika, 122mm) in a training area near Novoselivka (37km north-east of Donetsk). In addition, two tanks of undetermined type and six T-72 tanks were recorded near Novoselivka.

October 16, the OSCE SMM saw 13 weapons in violation of withdrawal lines in non-government-controlled areas of Luhansk region.
