OSCE SMM records not withdrawn multiple launch rocket systems in occupied Donbas

The OSCE SMM has recorded five tanks and 21 Grad multiple launch rocket systems deployed in the occupied areas of Donbas in violation of withdrawal lines.

“In violation of withdrawal lines, the SMM saw five tanks and 21 multiple launch rocket systems in non-government-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, respectively,” reads the OSCE SMM daily report issued on 21 September 2020.

Tanks were spotted in a training area near Novoselivka (37km north-east of Donetsk), and a multiple launch rocket system (BM-21 Grad, 122mm) – near Khrustalnyi (formerly Krasnyi Luch, 56km south-west of Luhansk).

In addition, the SMM noted that one multiple launch rocket system (BM-21 Grad, 122mm) and one selfpropelled howitzer (2S1 Gvozdika, 122mm) were again missing, and that one towed howitzer (2A65 Msta-B, 152mm) was missing for the first time at two heavy weapons permanent storage sites in a non-government-controlled area of Luhansk region.
