Invaders violate ceasefire near Avdiivka, no casualties reported

The armed formations of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area near the town of Avdiivka in Donbas on September 4, the press center of the JFO Headquarters reported.

The enemy opened fire from grenade launchers and from the small arms. The servicemen of the Joint Forces did not fire back. No combat losses among Ukrainian troops have been reported.

Today, on September 5, according to the information available as of 07:00, the ceasefire has been observed in all sectors of the front.

In the JFO area, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and firefighters of the State Emergency Service are involved in extinguishing the fires that broke out near the villages of Lopaskyne, Trokhizbenka, Novhorodske and Krasnohorivka.

In the front-line areas, explosive ordnance disposal teams of the Joint Forces have cleared more than 10 hectares of the territory and detected over 58 explosive devices.

“The situation in the JFO area remains fully controlled by Ukrainian soldiers,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reported.
