Additional entry-exit checkpoints in Luhansk region to open in four months

Additional entry-exit checkpoints on the contact line in Shchastia and Zolote towns in Luhansk region are planned to open in four months. Preparatory work is underway.

"The working groups inspected the places identified during a regular meeting of the Minsk Group for the opening of additional entry-exit checkpoints, namely the location of future checkpoints in Shchastia and Zolote. A list of problematic issues that need to be addressed in the near future has been identified. A roadmap for the actions of government bodies, units of the Armed Forces, and law enforcement agencies has been elaborated," Dmytro Luhin, a representative of the Luhansk Military-Civil Administration, said in a video address posted on Facebook.

According to Acting Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces Maryan Voloshchuk, the working group members and representatives of the Luhansk Regional State Administration already inspected the location of future checkpoints and identified a list of the urgent priority measures for the timely implementation of tasks set.
