Over 40 houses restored, almost 800 explosives disposed in Donbas over past week

Last week, employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine restored 44 houses and disposed almost 800 explosives in Donbas.

"During the past week, the units of the State Emergency Service from the Joint Forces were actively involved in extinguishing fires in Donbas, disposing of explosive devices, repairing damaged houses, and helping people who cross entry/exit checkpoints. Thus, bomb disposal experts of the State Emergency Service performed works on cleaning the territory from explosive objects, accompanied the emergency crews during repair and preventive works at power and water supply facilities. Also, mine clearance specialists examined 42 hectares of the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as a result of which they detected and disposed 792 explosive items," the press service of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters reports.

Rescuers restored 44 houses during the last week; 783 houses since the beginning of the Joint Forces Operation; and 1,326 since the beginning of the war in Donbas.

In addition, last week, rescuers assisted 92 people at entry/exit checkpoints.
