Russian-led forces violate ceasefire in Donbas 15 times

On April 10, the armed formations of the Russian Federation violated ceasefire in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas 15 times.

“The enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars banned under the Minsk agreements, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms to shell Ukrainian positions,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

Russian-occupation troops launched seven attacks in the zone of action of tactical force “East”, shelling Ukrainian positions near Krasnohorivka (21km west of Donetsk), Hnutove (20km north-east of Mariupol), Taramchuk (29km south-west of Donetsk), and Avdiivka (17km north of Donetsk) from grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms. Joint Forces’ positions outside Opytne (12km north-west of Donetsk) came under hand-held grenade launcher, heavy machine gun and small arms fire.

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy launched eight attacks, firing 120mm mortars on Ukrainian troops near Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk); 82mm mortars – outside Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk), Novotoshkivske (53km west of Luhansk), and Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk); 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems – on the outskirts of Orikhove (57km north-west of Luhansk); 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms – in the area of Krymske (42km north-west of Luhansk).

One serviceman of the Joint Forces was wounded in the enemy shelling over the past day.

Today, the Russian-occupation troops shelled Ukrainian positions near Novotoshkivske. Two Ukrainian soldiers sustained shrapnel wounds.
