Ukrainian troops come under mortar fire near Krymske. One soldier wounded

Since the beginning of the day, Russian-occupation troops have opened fire twice on positions of the Joint Forces in Donbas.

Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Mykhailo Sharavara said this at a briefing on Friday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"As of 12:00 on March 20, the armed formations of the Russian Federation violated ceasefire in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area twice.The Russian-led forces fired 20 mines from a 120mm mortar at the Ukrainian positions near Krymske (42km north-west of Luhansk). According to available information, one Ukrainian defender was wounded," the spokesman said.

The enemy also used an automatic grenade launcher, heavy machine guns and small arms to fire at the positions of the Joint Forces outside Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk).

As noted, the Joint Forces units gave an adequate response to the enemy attacks.
