Russian-led forces again shell Bohdanivka-Petrivske disengagement area

On March 17, Russian-occupation troops launched two attacks on Bohdanivka-Petrivske disengagement area in eastern Ukraine.

"The armed formations of the Russian Federation purposefully carried out armed provocations in the disengagement area. On March 17, Russian invaders twice shelled the disengagement area No. 3 Bohdanivka-Petrivske, using an automatic mounted grenade launcher and small arms," the press service of the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters reports.

The Headquarters stresses that such criminal actions of the Russian-occupation troops again confirm that the enemy deliberately violates the ceasefire and does not want to comply with the peace agreements.

As reported, on November 9, 2019, the Ukrainian military and Russian-occupation troops started the process of disengagement of forces and hardware at the site No.3 in the area of the villages of Bohdanivka and Petrivske in Donetsk region.

On October 29, 2019, the reciprocal disengagement of forces and hardware at the site No.2 near Zolote-4 locality in Luhansk region was completed.

On June 26, 2019, the Ukrainian troops withdrew from positions near the “Stanytsia Luhanska” entry-exit checkpoint within the framework of disengagement of parties in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska.
