Ukrainian troops come under mortar fire near Orikhove

Since the beginning of the day, Russian-occupation troops have opened fire twice on positions of the Joint Forces in eastern Ukraine, according to the Defense Ministry’s press service.

"In Donetsk direction, the Russian-led forces used a mounted anti-tank grenade launcher, heavy machine guns and other small arms to fire at the positions of the Joint Forces near Berezove (31km south-west of Donetsk). Also, the invaders fired five shells from 82mm mortar on our strongholds near Orikhove (57km north-west of Luhansk)," the report says.

According to available information, no casualties among the Ukrainian military have been reported.
