OSCE records fewer ceasefire violations in Donbas over past day – report

The SMM recorded fewer ceasefire violations in both Donetsk and Luhansk regions compared with the previous 24 hours, according to a daily report.

The OSCE SMM said this in a report issued on February 11, based on information from the monitoring teams received as of 19:30 on February 10, 2020.

"In Donetsk region, the SMM recorded fewer ceasefire violations, including, however, more explosions (about 80), compared with the previous 24 hours (about 40 explosions)," the report says.

The majority of ceasefire violations were recorded at northerly and north-north-easterly directions of Shyrokyne (government-controlled, 100km south of Donetsk) and south-south-west of Horlivka (non-government-controlled, 39km north-east of Donetsk), where the majority of explosions were also recorded.

“In Luhansk region, the SMM recorded fewer ceasefire violations, including fewer explosions (two), compared with the previous 24 hours (about 40 explosions),” the report reads.

The majority of ceasefire violations were recorded south-west of Obozne (non-government-controlled, 18km north of Luhansk).
