About 20 countries join Sea Breeze 2020 military exercises in Odesa

This year, about 20 countries have joined the traditional Sea Breeze military exercises in Odesa.

"Ukraine and the US are traditional organizers of the exercises. About 20 countries have joined this year's drills. According to commander of the exercises from the Ukrainian side, Captain I rank Oleksiy Doskato, the attraction of new participants, namely representatives of Japan and South Korea, was an important indicator this year. A unit of the Norwegian Armed Forces plans to participate in the land component of Sea Breeze for the first time," the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports.

During the past week, the multinational headquarters agreed on the concept and the main scenario of future maneuvers in Odesa.

The experts from Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, Georgia, Denmark, Estonia, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Romania, Turkey and Sweden worked at the multinational headquarters.
