Invaders fire grenade launchers at Ukrainian positions near Lebedynske

On the morning of January 28, Russian-occupation troops opened fire on the positions of the Joint Forces near Lebedynske in Donetsk region, according to the press center of the JFO Headquarters.

"The armed formations of the Russian Federation continue to openly violate the ceasefire regime. This morning, the Russian occupation troops used grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms, as well as 82mm mortars banned under the Minsk agreements, to shell positions of the Joint Forces near Lebedynske (16km east of Mariupol)," the report says.

As a result of the enemy shelling, no casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported.

To suppress enemy fire and stop provocations, the units of the Joint Forces provided an adequate response using weapons not banned under the Minsk agreements. Losses among the Russian-led forces are specified.
