Militants install camera and antenna in disengagement area near Zolote – OSCE

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine saw for the first time a camera and an antenna inside the disengagement area near Zolote in Donbas.

The OSCE SMM informed this in a report issued on December 31, based on information from the monitoring teams received as of 19:30 on December 30, 2019.

“Inside the disengagement area near Zolote (government-controlled, 60km west of Luhansk), the SMM saw for the first time a north-facing camera and an antenna installed on an electric pylon about 150m north-east of the checkpoint of the armed formations," the report says.

On the northern edge of the disengagement area, the SMM saw four Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel and, on the area’s southern edge, it saw three members of the armed formations (wearing armbands with “JCCC” written on them).
