State Emergency Service: 17 hectares near Petrivske cleared of mines

Employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have removed 188 explosive items in the area of the disengagement of troops near the villages Bohdanivka and Petrivske in Donetsk region, according to the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in Donetsk region.

“As of November 19, pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine examined the area of 2.6 hectares, removed and disposed 31 explosive items. Since the beginning of mine clearance operations, the territory of 17.57 hectares has been examined, 188 explosive items have been found and disposed,” reads the report.

As reported, in line with the Minsk agreements, the practical disengagement of personnel, arms and military hardware near the villages of Bohdanivka and Petrivske in Donetsk region ended on November 11.
