JFO Headquarters: Invaders disrupt disengagement of troops in Petrivske

The Russian-occupation troops have not confirmed readiness for the disengagement of forces and hardware in the area of Bohdanivka and Petrivske in Donetsk region. Thus, the enemy disrupted the disengagement process.

“Yesterday, the Ukrainian side, through the Foreign Ministry, informed the OSCE about its readiness for the disengagement. Today, on November 8, at 12:00, the Ukrainian side was ready to begin the practical process of disengagement of forces and hardware at the site No. 3 in the area of Bohdanivka and Petrivske localities in Donetsk region. The date was set, taking into account the last ceasefire violation at the disengagement site No. 3 which was reported on October 30 this year. This fact is reflected in the daily report of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission of October 31. The information about readiness to start disengagement today, on November 8, was not received from the enemy side. Thus, the enemy not only disrupted the process of disengagement but again violated international agreements,” the press service of the JFO Headquarters reports.

As reported, the disengagement of troops in Petrivske, scheduled for November 4, was postponed due to the attacks on the Joint Forces positions recorded on October 30.

On November 8, the Ukrainian side declared its readiness to start the practical process of disengagement of forces and hardware at the site No. 3 in the area of Bohdanivka and Petrivske in Donetsk region at 12:00.
