Mine clearance starts in Zolote

Mine clearance has started at the site of disengagement of forces and weapons in the area of Zolote-4 locality in Luhansk region.

“The activities on site No.2 in the area of Zolote-4 locality in Luhansk region are ongoing. The technical inspection, demining of roads and roadsides, clearing the area contaminated with explosive objects take place now,” press center of the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters posted on Facebook.

According to schedule, the mine clearance will last until November 9.

As reported, the disengagement of forces and weapons in the area of Zolote-4 lasted from October 29 to November 1.

Following the disengagement of forces and mine clearance, the dismantlement of fortifications at the site will start and last until November 25.

At the same time, the JFO command introduced a yellow regime in the area of conduct of​​the Joint Forces Operation, which provides for special powers of military personnel and law enforcement officers and imposes restrictions for civilians.
