Invaders open fire on Ukrainian positions near Luhanske and Novohnativka

As of 12:30 on November 1, Russian occupation troops opened fire twice on the positions of the Ukrainian Joint Forces in Donbas.

Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Maksym Prauta said this at a briefing on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"From 00:30 the enemy was firing anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms at the Ukrainian positions near Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk). The shelling lasted for more than half an hour from the occupied village of Lozove. At 10:30, the Russian-led forces used an anti-tank grenade launcher to shell our positions near Novohnativka (40km south of Donetsk)," he said.

According to the Defense Ministry spokesman, no casualties among Ukrainian troops have been reported since the beginning of the day.
