Russian-led forces launch 32 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas

On September 25, the armed formations of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated ceasefire 32 times in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in eastern Ukraine. 

“The enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars banned under the Minsk agreements, weapons on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of different systems, sniping weapons and small arms to launch attacks on positions of the Joint Forces,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, the Russian-led forces fired 120mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems and small arms on Ukrainian positions near Krasnohorivka (21km west of Donetsk); 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems and small arms – outside Marinka (23km south-west of Donetsk); weapons on infantry fighting vehicles and small arms – in the area of Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk); grenade launchers of different systems and small arms – near Pisky (11km north-west of Donetsk); automatic grenade launchers – outside Opytne (12km north-west of Donetsk) and Novotroitske (36km south-west of Donetsk); under-barrel grenade launchers and small arms – in the area of Avdiivka (17km north of Donetsk); small arms – near Novohnativka (40km south of Donetsk).

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, invaders used 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems and small arms to shell Ukrainian troops near Travneve (51km north-east of Donetsk); 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems, sniping weapons and small arms – outside Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk); 82mm mortars, automatic grenade launcher and small arms - in the area of Pivdenne (40km north-east of Donetsk) and Zolote-4 (59km west of Luhansk); 82mm mortars and automatic grenade launcher – near Svitlodarsk (57km north-east of Donetsk); grenade launchers of different systems and small arms – outside Novotoshkivske (53km west of Luhansk); mounted antitank grenade launcher – in the area of Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk); small arms – near Zaitseve (62km north-east of Donetsk).

Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded and another one was injured in the enemy shooting over the past day.

Today, the armed formations of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries have not opened fire yet.
