Ukraine and Turkey discuss technology transfer of artillery ammunition

At DSEI 2019 (Defence and Security Equipment International) Exhibition, representatives of Ukraine and Turkey discussed the mutual transfer of technologies for the production of large-caliber artillery ammunition, according to the Ukroboronprom State Concern.

"On September 10, in the framework of DSEI 2019 in London, a meeting was held between the director of the high-precision weapons and ammunition department of the Ukroboronprom State Concern and representatives of the Turkish company NOTM ltd. The parties discussed the mutual transfer of technologies for the production of large-caliber artillery ammunition," the concern's press service reported.

The meeting is a continuation of negotiations between the Ukrainian and Turkish parties, which are held during 2019. For Ukraine, cooperation with Turkish partners aims to stimulate the development of domestic production of modern weapons by NATO standards. Scientific institutions and design bureaus of the Ukroboronprom enterprises will play a key role in such cooperation.
