Invaders violate ceasefire 26 times in Donbas. Two Ukrainian soldiers wounded

The armed formations of the Russian Federation violated ceasefire 26 times, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements 12 times, in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“The enemy used 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars, weapons on infantry fighting vehicles, antitank missile systems, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms to launch attacks on Ukrainian defenders,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, the Russian-led troops launched 13 attacks on Ukrainian positions. In particular, the enemy fired small arms on Ukrainian troops near Hranitne (60km south of Donetsk); heavy machine gun and small arms – outside Lebedynske (16km east of Mariupol); 82mm mortars and under-barrel grenade launcher – in the area of Pisky (11km north-west of Donetsk); 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems and small arms – near Talakivka (17km north-east of Mariupol); mounted antitank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns – near Pavlopol (25km north-west of Mariupol); automatic grenade launcher – outside Novotroitske (36km south-west of Donetsk); hand-held antitank grenade launcher, heavy machine gun and small arms – in the area of Krasnohorivka (21km west of Donetsk); grenade launchers of different systems and small arms – near Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk); mounted antitank grenade launcher, heavy machine gun and small arms – on the outskirts of Bohdanivka (41km south-west of Donetsk); heavy machine gun – near Pyshchevyk (25km north-east of Mariupol); small arms – outside Marinka (23km south-west of Donetsk).

In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy fired on Ukrainian troops 13 times: from 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems and heavy machine guns  – near Shchastia (20km north of Luhansk); 122mm artillery systems, 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms – in the area of Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk); 120mm and 82mm mortars, weapons on infantry fighting vehicles, antitank missile systems, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms – on the outskirts of Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk); 120mm mortars and mounted antitank grenade launchers – outside Popasna (69km west of Luhansk); 120mm and 82mm mortars – near Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk); automatic grenade launcher and heavy machine gun – in the area of Katerynivka (64km west of Luhansk). 122mm artillery systems – near Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk).

Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in enemy shelling over the past day.

 Every enemy’s shooting was given an adequate response in line with the Minsk agreements.

According to the intelligence, six invaders were wounded on July 20.

Today, the enemy has not opened fire on positions of the Joint Forces.

The Joint Forces reliably control the enemy on the contact line, adhering to the ceasefire agreements.
