Russian-led forces violate ceasefire in Donbas almost 30 times, two soldiers killed

The armed formations of the Russian Federation violated ceasefire 28 times, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements three times, in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas over the past day.

“The enemy fired 152mm and 122mm artillery systems, 120mm mortars, weapons on infantry fighting vehicles, antitank missile systems, grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms on the units of the Joint Forces,” the press center of the Joint Forces Headquarters reports.

In the zone of action of tactical force “East”, Russian-led forces opened fire on Ukrainian positions 21 times. In the zone of action of tactical force “North”, the enemy shelled Ukrainian troops seven times.

Two Ukrainian servicemen were killed and another five were wounded over the past day. The Joint Forces adequately returned fire in response to enemy’s shooting. According to intelligence, two invaders were annihilated and one more was wounded on June 6.

Today, the enemy has already launched attacks on the Joint Forces positions near Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol).

The Joint Forces reliably control the enemy on the contact line, adhering to ceasefire agreements.
