JFO Headquarters on mine clearance: Over 60 ha of land cleared in Donbas over past week

Military engineers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have cleared over 60 hectares of land and disposed over 70 explosive objects in Donbas over the past week, according the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters press center.

“The pyrotechnic units of the Joint Forces Operation examined 64 hectares of land in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, detected and disposed of 74 explosive devices... Also, the personnel of the State Emergency Service continued emergency works on restoring residential buildings in the towns of Marinka and Krasnohorivka. Over the previous week, 10 houses have been repaired,” reads the report.

In general, since the start of operation, combat engineers have detected and disposed about 19,000 explosive objects.
